Images

Now with images or graphics, the search engines cannot read them. They are graphics, and search engines read text. So a handy little tip here is to name your graphic a keyword. So if your site is all about widgets, make your graphics widget 1, widget 2, widget 3, you get the idea. Now when your site looks good, you like the way everything is placed, go back to your graphics again. There is an alt text code you can put on your graphic. You have seen it. When you scroll over a graphic and text comes up, that is the alt text tag.

Point your mouse over this graphic:

Add text to it. Like Widgets are great. Do that to each of your graphics. Adding text but not the same text on each. Vary it, and only one keyword to each graphic. If your site is huge, and you have a lot of keywords, this is a perfect opportunity for you.
